Biography
Amy Smotherman Burgess began her career as a photojournalist in 1998 after receiving her degree in Photojournalism from Western Kentucky University. After spending two years at the South Bend Tribune in Indiana, she moved south to take a position with the Knoxville News Sentinel. Amy is married to sports writer Mark Burgess and they live in Maryville with their children Brandon, Katie, and Avery.| Link | Date |
