Drew Edwards joined the News Sentinel's sports department in 2005 as preps editor after working for the Marietta (Ga.) Daily Journal and the Anderson (S.C.) Independent-Mail. He began covering Tennessee football in 2006. A 2003 graduate of Tennessee with a degree in journalism, Edwards is a Knoxville native and a 1998 graduate of Farragut High School.
