- Graduated from Mason High School in 1984. - Served in the Army from 1984-87 in the 82nd Airborne Division - Graduated from Michigan State University in 1992 - Worked at the Salina Journal (Kan.) for three years before being hired by the News Sentinel in 1996 - Married, have twin 12-years olds.
