Silver Oak
Silver OakLandview Development’s newest neighborhood, Silver Oak, is perfect for homeowners seeking a balance between privacy and West Knoxville convenience, says developer Winston Cox.
The upscale residential community also features close proximity to three of the area’s most popular marinas – Fort Loudon, Choto and Concord Park and Marina – making it a lake lover’s dream.
“It is located just far enough to have the feel of a country setting but close enough to have a 10-minute drive to either downtown Lenoir City or Knoxville’s Turkey Creek development,” Cox adds.
“This is a beautiful, growing area. A lot of people want to locate in a neighborhood just like this.”
When Silver Oak is completed, the 35-acre site will feature 56 homes, with lot sizes starting at a generous 100 feet by 150 feet. Trees surround the exterior lots. Landview Construction is building the homes.
Silver Oak will feature spacious three- and four-bedroom homes.
Landview is utilizing eight floor plans ranging from 2,435 to 3,685 square feet, with prices starting at $279,900. Cox says the floor plans are all new to the Knoxville area. Four plans will have master suites on the main level.
Silver Oak offers features such as hardwood and ceramic tile floors in each home. Homes purchased early in the construction phase can be customized with options and upgrades. Available upgrades include a variety of counter surfaces, lighting features, custom blinds, custom closets and other upscale finishing touches. Landview’s in-house designers are available to assist homebuyers during the decision-making process.
Special amenities include three-car garages, solid-wood cabinetry, tile backsplashes, built-in sprinkler systems in the front yard, and brick and siding construction. Sidewalks, uniform mailboxes and a community pool round out the neighborhood’s exterior.
The model home, located just off Northshore Drive, near Silver Oak’s main entrance, boasts many of Silver Oak’s design features and amenities. These include spacious pantries, vaulted ceiling, rear porch and patios, gas fireplaces with marble surround, and large picture windows.
Landview Real Estate listing agent Linda Ericson describes the homes as “rich with functional square footage.”
The model home is open Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 5 p.m. Ericson is on the property from 3 to 6 p.m. on weekdays as well.
Landview also partners with preferred lender Phoenix Mortgage to assist buyers with a variety of financing options. “Our builder will pay $1,000 toward closing costs on all contracts written and accepted by Aug. 1,” says Cox.
Winston Cox has been developing property in Knox, Loudon and Blount counties for more than 30 years. His properties span 35 subdivisions.
His wife, Emily Cox, says she is thrilled with this project. “We have assembled a team of experienced people crafting a quality product, and the end result is like nothing else in this area,” she says.
One of the homes at Silver Oak, the Woodgrove model at lot 44 on Granada Drive, will be showcased in the Knoxville Parade of Homes Oct. 5-7, 12-14 and 19-21. Saturday and Sunday hours are from noon to 5 p.m. The 3,289-square-foot Woodgrove, priced at $359,900, has special features such as a butler’s pantry and a third finished level.
Landview homes at Carter Ridge and Wellington Chase subdivisions will also be part of the Parade – the Delta model on Carter Ridge Drive in Strawberry Plains and the Tennyson model on Wellington Chase Lane in Hardin Valley.
“All our Parade model homes may be purchased with furnishings,” Cox says.
In addition to the properties featured in the Parade of Homes, Landview’s residential developments include Wyndham Pointe in Karns, where homes start at $229,900, and Falcon Pointe, where new home sites are now available.
