in response to BrassMonkey: I hope Neil Young will remember. A southern man don't need him around, anyhow.

I'm a Southern woman, and I think it's awesome Neil Young is going to perform here! Those talentless Skynyrd hacks get enough airplay (ad nauseum) on the radio.
Any music awards show that doesn't have Neko Case *at least nominated* for an award (when she is eligible) is simply inauthentic and unwatchable for those who appreciate actual talent.
in response to WayneBledsoe: It was originally scheduled to open wide, including Knoxville, on Nov. 25, but the movie company has switched to a softer release strategy. I suspect they want the critical buzz to carry it to the smaller cities - although, while I liked it very much, reviews have been mixed. No word now on when we'll get it, but surely soon.

Thanks for the information! I'm really eager to see one of my favorite books on the big screen. I really wish more people were interested in seeing The Road than, say, New Moon. Then I wouldn't have to wait! :)
Next few weeks?! Why the heck isn't it coming out on November 25th when it, you know, actually opens!? Grrr...
